Ingredients:|Preparation Time:10 mins|
- Banana 500 gms, peeled(used here, the smaller variety)
- Brown Sugar 100 gms(powdered)
- Wheat Flour 200 gms
- Baking Powder 1 tspn
- Pure Olive Oil 100 gms
- Seeds 2 tbspn(for garnish, used here is musk melon and flax seeds)
Method:|Baking Time:35 mins@ 220deg C)
Blend the bananas into a smoothie, see that there are no lumps. Add in the oil and blend it well, slowly add the sugar, flour and baking powder and get a consistency of a cake batter. Pour it over a greased and dusted mould and garnish it with the seeds.
Bake it for 35 mins in a preheated oven of 220deg C.
Once it cools down, take it out of the mould and cut it into squares and serve it with tea. As its not a very sweet cake, you can slightly heat it and also have it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, like a dessert.
