Easy Cup Cake

There s always a need to prepare something quick to eat, when unexpected guests drop by. It was tea time and i knew exactly what to cook quickly. As the guest were chatting, i  made some tea and baked cup cakes to eat along. It took me about 30 mins. The fastest that i had done till now. Simple sponge cup cake using the basic ingredients.


Ingredients:|Preparation time :10mins|

  • Eggs  2
  • Wheat Flour  100 gms
  • Sugar (white/brown) Powder  100 gms
  • Pure Olive Oil   100 gms
  • Baking powder  1/2 tspn
  • Vanilla Essence  1/2 tspn

Method:|Baking Time:25 mins|

Sift wheat flour and baking powder, keep it aside. Beat the eggs and olive oil with a whisker, then add the powdered sugar and whisk it well. Then slowly add the wheat flour and baking powder into it and make a smooth batter. Preheat the oven at 190 deg. Pour in the batter into the cups. See that only 1/4 of the cups are filled. Bake it for 25 mins., remove from the oven and let it cool down before you serve it with tea.
