Key Lime Pie


This dessert, is probably the easiest of all that i ve tried till date!

Ingredients: |Preperation Time: 20 mins|

  • Condensed Milk  400 gms
  • Butter melted  12 tbspn
  • Low Sugar biscuit(Marie) 200 gms
  • Lime Juice  100 ml
  • Fresh Cream (medium fat)  200 ml
  • Saffron (few strands, soaked in 2 tbspn of milk)

Method: |Chilling Time:1 to 2 hours|

Crush the biscuits finely, add the melted butter and mix well. Press this into a greased shallow glass dish or loose bottom pie dish and chill for 15 mins in the refrigerator.


Whisk the condensed milk and lime juice together until thick. Whip the cream till soft peaks form and fold into the condensed milk mixture, gently mix till combined. Pour onto the chilled biscuit layer and make some design on top with a fork and  swirl the saffron color through the mixture to get a pattern on top of the pie. Freeze for 1 to 2 hours or until set.

Slice it, serve a chilled wedge of the pie.
