One of the best carbs to eat is definitely potato:), as long as you know which is the right way to cook it! If you fry it ,you loose all its nutrients,as the fat takes over the carbs. Baking, steaming and boiling keeps it intact. So i tried out a easy way to bake the whole potato:)
Ingredients |Preparation Time:5 mins|
- Potato 1 big
- Olive Oil 1 tbspn
- Salt and Pepper as per taste
Method |Cooking time:45 mins|
Pre heat the oven at 250C . Slice the potato really close but not cutting it off completely as seen in the pic.
Pour in oil into the slots as well salt and pepper. When the oven is ready put in the potato and set the timer at 45 mins.
A simple and healthy snack is ready to be served:). Serve with a dip of your choice or just plain mayonnaise or ketchup:)
