Grilled Chicken

One day while i was really tired and alone was thinking what would be easy to cook with some chicken that i had where i dint have to stand in the kitchen for too long this quick recipe just flashed 🙂 So took my mixing bowl n put in all the ingredients which were easily available in my kitchen and blended it and marinated the chicken and rested for an hour!

Ingredients:

  • Chicken  500 gms
  • Curds  3 tbspn
  • Chilli Powder  1/2 tbspn
  • Pepper powder 1/4 tspn
  • Turmeric  1/4 tspn
  • Garam masala powder  1/4 tspn
  • Kasuri methi(dry fenugreek leaves)  1/2 tbspn
  • Pure olive oil or Rice bran oil   4 tbspn
  • Salt as per taste

Method:

Take a mixing bowl, put in the  curds and add in all the other spices and salt ,mix it well with a fork or blender. Meanwhile clean the chicken and gash it so that the flavor of the marinade gets in well into the meat. Now add the chicken and also the oil  into this mixture and let the meat marinate for atleast an hour. After an hour, keep your microwave oven ready to grill, use the high rack. Place the chicken pieces on the rack and set the temp. to 360 degree and grill it for 20 mins. 10 mins on each side, turning the side after 10 mins. And the chicken is ready to be served.  If you somebody coming in the evening this would be an ideal starter to start off as its absolutely no sweat!!
