Chicken and Pepper Frittata

Frittatas are great breakfast ideas. Easy and healthy. You can make it with literally anything that you have and easily available in your kitchen! My favourite thou is the chicken and pepper frittata.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs  4
  • Bell pepper(red,yellow,green)  1/4 each(cut into small squares)
  • Chicken Fillet  100 gms
  • Olive oil  2 tbspn
  • Cheese(cheddar or mozorella)  50 gms (grated) or you can use 1 full slice of cheddar cheese which is available in the market
  • Salt and Pepper as per taste

Method:

Take 1 tbspn of oil in the pan ,cut the chicken fillet into small pieces and cook it in the oil for a couple of mins ,add salt n pepper,cook it in high flame as it should not leave out any water. Remove it from the pan and keep it aside. Break the 4 eggs and add a pinch of salt into it beat it well. Add another tbspn of oil in the pan and add the beaten eggs into it. Lower the flame and let it cook a bit ,once it s half done add the chicken pieces and spread it neatly over the egg and do the same with the pepper ,spread it evenly. Now add the cheese over it ,crush some pepper and cover and let it cook for another couple of minutes ,you will know it s done by looking at the melted cheese. Put it off and rest it in the pan for a bit and serve ,you can have it alone or with some bread !
